In the last decade, the convergence of computing and home TV/Audio entertainment technologies has led to rapid changes in the way in which we all listen to Audio or view Video programs at home as well as in a work environment. The ultimate aim is now to have the ability to view/listen to digital content anytime and anywhere ('on-demand').
DVBLogic was founded in 2007 to 'bridge the gap' between third party hardware and Windows MediaCenter to allow streaming of digital content (TV - including HD, Satellite, Cable or terrestrial; Audio incorporating 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound) to remote devices for playback. Since its foundation, DVBLogic has introduced products for use with many manufacturers, including Hauppauge; PC TV Systems;Technotrend; and Dreambox.
Founders Pavlo Barvinko and Sasha Bublyk both graduated at Kiev University in 1995 with Masters Degrees in Applied Physics and Electronics.
2007 - Company founded byPavloBarvinko and Sasha Bublyk. Debuted DVBSBridge products to enable satellite and cable TV reception for Windows MediaCenter.
2008 (Mid) - DVBSBridge enables reception of High Definition TV's h.264 streams and DVB-S2 signals within the latest Windows Vista TV Pack update.
2009 (Early) - DVBSBridge introduced for Hauppauge HD PVR, seamlessly integrating HD PVR into Windows Mediacenter.
2009 (June) - DVBLink released based on new virtual technology providing whole host of new features including support for multiple tuners; support for an unlimited number of channels and a new MediaCenter synchronisation user interface.
2009 (November) - DVBLink TVSource launched eliminating need for external TV Tuner engine and improving ease of use and robustness of whole system.
2010 (January) - DVBLogic registeredwith the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in The Netherlands.
2010 (February) - DVBLogic launches DVBLink v2.0 with improved UI and robustness. DVBLink Server Network Pack introduced enabling networking of TV channels on desktops, laptops, netbooks,Xbox and PlayStation3 game consoles
2010 (June) - DVBLogic launches DVBLink v3.0 with improved functionality to TVSource and a major addition to DVBLink Server Network Pack -the ability to watch TV from you home server over the internet on any PC.
Pavlo Barvinko graduated from Kiev University (Ukraine) in 1995 with a masters degree in Applied Physics and Electronics. Pavlo has broad international work experience - and has worked and lived in the Ukraine, the United States and the Netherlands. Pavlo has worked for the last 11 years in different divisions of Philips - Medical Systems, Research, Consumer Electronics, Semiconductors and Advanced Development Labs as a software and then system architect. He has extensive experience in streaming technologies and software and system design of complex products. He has a passion for innovation and turning exciting ideas into real products.
Sasha Bublyk graduated from Kiev University (Ukraine) in 1995 with a masters degree in Applied Physics and Electronics. Has 15 years of experience in software development and technical coordination of medium and large software projects. His specialization is kernel mode driver development and reliable system level software. Sasha looks after the DVBLogic development team. His experience and expertise means that DVBLink products are completed on time and with the highest quality.
